A blogger’s life can be hectic. Those who work in the greenhouse industry will understand what I mean. They have a “busy” season during the summer, and as a blogger, my busy season is in full swing. This means Joe has to fend for himself when it comes to food, and we eat a lot of pre-prepared meals. It also means that

you will see more sponsored posts than usual. Because it’s the holiday season, all retailers want to make sure you see their new arrivals. I’m lucky to be able to choose who I want to work with, and I only work with brands that I think you’ll like and that will benefit you in some way. I turn down hundreds of offers a week, and I hope you like the ones I choose to work with.

The economy is taking a heavy toll on many households, and I like to suggest ways to save money whenever I can. The post I made on Rakuten may have seemed odd since it wasn’t a “fashion” post, but it’s a service I use all the time, and it saves you money . Several of you emailed me asking for the links to the clothes that were in that post, so I’m including them today.

Another way I want to make your holidays a little brighter is with weekly giveaways. Every Saturday until the end of the year, I will give TWO $50 Amazon Gift Cards. To enter the competition, you must live in the United States, WHERE you must have a PayPal account. Since I’m in the United States, I can’t buy Amazon gift cards for other countries, but I can send $50 payment through PayPal, and you can buy it for yourself.

Entering the giveaways is easy… I will randomly (Alexa) pick the winners from comments left on posts throughout the week. The more posts you comment on, the more chances you have of winning. Each week will run from Saturday to Friday. A winner will be announced each Saturday and the competition will start over. Good luck to everyone!

This outfit has generated a lot of interest, and I can understand why. This is one of my favorite outfits I’ve worn this fall, probably because I LOVE chunky sweaters. Cable knit sweaters are my favorite, and this one Camel Cable Sweater is beautiful. I had a hard time deciding between the camel and ivory sweaters, but I love the look of camel with my hair and skin tone. I wear a medium, and it fits me very well.

I already had these Low-rise bootcut jeans in a lighter color. (See here) I also wanted to get the darkest color, and wanted to try a smaller size because I thought the light version was too roomy. These are a size 28/6, and they fit better. I like my jeans to be tighter so the size worked for me. If you like loose fits, order your usual size.

tobacco brown Classic Leather Tote is a good size if you like bigger bags like me. I love the grained leather and the deep chocolate brown color; they both make the bag look very luxurious. The tote is available in black and mineral, but the brown color is my choice.

These Low-rise wide-leg jeans are at a very good price. Even though they call these two jeans “low rise”, they are not low like you are used to seeing. They are just lower than the high waisted jeans that are in fashion. I actually prefer this lift for my torso, so I’m glad to see this style as an option. I’m wearing a 29/8 in these jeans, and I can’t tell if it’s loose on me or if it’s the wide leg style. Lol! I know jeans would look better with a more fitted or tucked-in top, but I couldn’t wait to show you the sweater.

Calling all lovers of sweets, comfort and hugs!!! You will love this amazingly soft sweater!!! I love the casual style of the sweater, and will be wearing it many times this fall and winter. It’s a Barefoot Dreams Half-Zip Tunic Sweater, and as the saying goes, “if you know, you know!” I thought Barefoot Dreams was just an overpriced sweater until I broke down and tried on my first. OH MY WORD! My sister is probably still calling me names for introducing her soft, comfy, and cuddly daughter to this brand. At least she knows something to put on her daughter’s Christmas list every year. I wear a medium, and it fits me perfectly.

Christmas decoration from Amazon

I will soon be setting up my Christmas tree. I know most of you will be waiting until after Thanksgiving or even later. But, because of the “photos” I will have to take with my Christmas decor and my tree, I will have to have everything I need sooner. So, while I was busy shopping for Christmas decorations on Amazon, I decided to share the items I have in my shopping cart.

Over 40 Fashion Bloggers, Tania Stephens Presents Amazon Christmas Decor

Battery Operated LED Window Candles with Flickering Amber Flame – I bought some battery operated candles last year but wasn’t happy with them so I’m trying these instead. They have a lot of great reviews so I order three sets for all my windows.

Christmas tree necklace – Do you have one of these tree collars for your tree? They are so popular, but I didn’t know how to use one last year. Lol! I’m ordering the gold (I use gold and bronze for my tree) to try this year. This necklace is available in many styles, including raffia, Santa’s belt, drum pattern, and more.

Pre-Lit Artificial Christmas Wreath – I made the mistake of ordering string lights last year that were not pre-lit. As Pretty Woman would say, “big mistake…big!” This one is 9 feet long, which is great for fireplaces, doorways, and stair railings. I will be ordering two to frame my front door this year.

Set of 9 assorted golden glass balls – I love mercury balls. I have red ones, and I buy them in gold to go with my existing ornaments.

Set of 3 Christmas lighted gift boxes – I had a few sets in red that I loved. But I need it in warm white to go with the rest of my decor. I plan to use them on my steps or under the tree. I will decide once they arrive.

Decorative Cow Bell with Jute Hanging Rope – Did you know that I collect bells? I still have my collection of bells, but I haven’t collected any additional bells in years. I’m going to hang these bells in the wreath of my front door.

8 Pack Real Wax Battery Operated LED Candles with Flickering Flame and Timer “I have some in ivory, but I love these gold ones.

Lenox Holiday Ornament Cookie Jar – Isn’t this ornamental cookie jar gorgeous??? I think it would be nice next to my coffee maker, and since cookies go really well with coffee, I think it will be the perfect place for it.

36 inches. Flocked Mountain Pine Wreath with Battery Operated LED Lights – I love this flocked crown with LED lights. It will look great on my front door with the bells.

Spode Carved Christmas Tree Octagonal Tray – I was thinking of this Christmas tree tray to put a ball of cheese with crackers around. I like a snack tray while I try to cook our dinner. This makes it possible to satisfy the guests and not go hungry.

Pre-Lit Snowflake Artificial Christmas Tree – Guess who bought a beautiful flocked tree last year without lights??? Another big mistake on my part.

18pcs Christmas tree decoration crystal ornaments – These crystal ornaments are beautiful and I love adding crystal to my tree to reflect the lights.

Holiday arrangement of magnolia, pine and berries in a glass vase – Small arrangements like this are perfect for small tables, bathrooms or guest rooms. They add a touch of holiday cheer without taking up much space.

Ivory White Knit Christmas Stocking – I like to see stockings attached to the coat. I can’t say if these will be big enough, but ordering them is the only way to know for sure.

Watercolor Christmas Tree Pillowcase Cushion Cover – Festive pillows make a huge difference. I love adding pillows like this to the white bedding in my bedrooms. I used to put Christmas trees in all the rooms, but it’s much easier!
